AranyaDeb is a 2017 Tamil-language Fantasy motion picture directed by Oliver Hirschbiegel and produced by Bernd Eichinger under the banner of Constantin Film. Aranya stays in North Calcutta, reluctantly goes to work in a small company doing meaningless chores just to keep his family happy and. Aranya believes it is his job to protect everyone from evil. He does wonder at times.. why.. others cant understand his mission and his powers and why they cant believe that he is special.. but he knows.. no.. he believes that they will all be thankful one day. Aranya has a soul mate, Deb with whom he grew up. They went to the same school and were inseparable all through their childhood. But Deb was a boy wonder and grew to be a man of amazing talents. He sailed through his studies, was a natural athlete, was there in school functions and was a darling of teachers, parents and friends alike. He was effortlessly the center of attraction, everywhere. College took them onto separate journeys and thereafter their lives were tangential. Life for him.. is to achieve.. .. relentlessly. It is story of a single fateful day when two best friends who are very different from each other, their world changes..forever. Aranyadeb features Bruno Ganz in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Alexandra Maria Lara, Corinna Harfouch, Ulrich Matthes, Juliane K Hler, Heino Ferch and Christian Berkel. The screenplay is written by Bernd Eichinger which is inspired from Inside Hitler's Bunker by Joachim Fest Until the Final Hour by Traudl Junge Melissa M ller. The music was composed by Stephan Zacharias. Cinematography was done by Rainer Klausmann and editing by Hans Funck. The film has a running time of 155 minutes. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Constantin Film.
