Barbarella is a 1968 English-language Adventure Comedy film written by Jean-claude Forest, Claude Brulé, Terry Southern, Roger Vadim, Vittorio Bonicelli, Clement Biddle Wood, Brian Degas, Tudor Gates and Charles B. Griffith. The movie is directed by Roger Vadim and produced by Dino De Laurentiis under the banner of Marianne Productions in collaboration with Dino de Laurentiis Cinematografica. Barbarella, an astronaut from the 41st century, sets out to find and stop the evil scientist Durand Durand, whose Positronic Ray threatens to bring evil back into the galaxy. Barbarella stars Jane Fonda in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including John Phillip Law, Marcel Marceau, David Hemmings, Ugo Tognazzi, Anita Pallenberg and Milo O'shea. The screenplay is written by Terry Southern, Roger Vadim, Claude Brul , Vittorio Bonicelli, Clement Biddle Wood, Brian Degas, Tudor Gates and Jean-Claude Forest which is inspired from Barbarella by Jean-Claude Forest. The music was composed by Bob Crewe along with Charles Fox. Cinematography was done by Claude Renoir and editing by Victoria Mercanton. The motion picture has a running time of 98 minutes.
