Bazaar is a 1982 Hindi-language Drama Family movie written by Sagar Sarhadi and Ibrahim Rungala. The movie is directed by Sagar Sarhadi and produced by Vijay Talwar under the banner of Hallmark Hall of Fame. The film set in Hyderabad, India, highlights the issue of bride buying in India, through the tragedy of a young girl being sold by needy parents to affluent expatriate Indians in the Gulf. Bazaar stars Farooq Shaikh in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Smita Patil, Naseeruddin Shah, Supriya Pathak, Bharat Kapoor, Rita Rani Kaul and Malika. The music was composed by Khayyam. Cinematography was done by Ishan Arya and editing by S. Chakravarty. The motion picture has a running time of 121 min. It was released on 21st May 1982.
