Bekaraar is a 1983 Hindi-language Drama Romance movie written by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar, Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Rahi Masoom Reza. The movie is directed by Rajendra Prasad V.b. and V. B. Rajendra Prasad and produced by V. B. Rajendra Prasad under the banner of Jagapathi Art Pictures. His elder brother , however, forbids him this wedding and forces him to accept an arranged marriage with Nisha who long before has lost her heart out to Shyam. Bekaraar stars Sanjay Dutt in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Padmini Kolhapure, Mohnish Behl, Supriya Pathak, Ashok Kumar Ganguly, Om Puri and Govardhan Asrani. The music was composed by Laxmikant Shantaram Kudalkar along with Pyarelal Ramprasad Sharma and Laxmikant Pyarelal. Cinematography was done by P. S. Selvaraj and editing by A. Sanjeevi.
