Crimson Peak is a 2015 English-language Drama Fantasy film written by Lucinda Coxon, Guillermo Del Toro and Matthew Robbins. The movie is directed by Guillermo Del Toro and produced by Thomas Tull, Guillermo Del Toro, Callum Greene and Jon Jashni under the banner of Legendary Pictures in collaboration with Double Dare You Productions. In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds - and remembers. Crimson peak features Mia Wasikowska in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Jessica Chastain, Tom Hiddleston, Charlie Hunnam, Jim Beaver, Burn Gorman and Leslie Hope. The music was composed by Fernando Velázquez along with Fernando Vel Zquez. Cinematography was done by Dan Laustsen and editing by Bernat Vilaplana. The movie has a running time of 119 minutes.
