Eddie The Eagle is a story about an underdog Ski-jumper Eddie Edwards who crosses various hurdles to become the first participant to represent Great Britain in Olympic ski-jumping. The screenplay was written by Sean Macaulay and Simon Kelton. The film was produced by Adam Bohling, David Reid, Rupert Maconick, Valerie Van Galder, and Mathew Vaughn and directed by Dexter Fletcher. This 2015 biographical sports drama film stars Taron Egerton, Hugh Jackman, Christopher Walken, Iris Berben, and Jim Broadbent. Taron Egerton prepared himself for the role by putting on a little extra weight, in addition to that he wore a subtle wig and trademark thick glasses. He also earned Cheltenham accent for the role. Clear cut editing by Martin Walsh and adept cinematography by George Richmond makes it a watchable movie. It was released on March 28, 2016, and was distributed by 20th Century Fox.
