Eight Crazy Nights is a 2002 English-language Animation Comedy motion picture written by Brooks Arthur, Allen Covert, Brad Isaacs and Adam Sandler. The movie is directed by Seth Kearsley and produced by Adam Sandler, Allen Covert and Jack Giarraputo under the banner of Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Happy Madison Productions. Davey Stone, an alcoholic with a criminal record, is sentenced to community service under the supervision of an elderly referee. Davey is then faced with trying to reform and abandon his bad habits. Eight crazy nights features Adam Sandler in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Jackie Titone, Austin Stout, Rob Schneider, Jackie Sandler, Kevin Nealon and Norm Crosby. The music was composed by Teddy Castellucci along with Marc Ellis and Ray Ellis. Editing was done by Amy Budden. The film has a running time of 76 minutes. It was released on 27th November 2002. Eight Crazy Nights was made on a budget of $34 million and at the box office it grossed only $23 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Sony Pictures Releasing.
