Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile is a 2019 English-language Biography Crime film directed by Joe Berlinger and produced by Joe Berlinger, Michael Costigan, Michael Simkin, Nicolas Chartier and Ara Keshishian under the banner of COTA Films in collaboration with Voltage Pictures and Third Eye Motion Picture Company. Extremely wicked, shockingly evil and vile stars Zac Efron in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Lily Collins, Kaya Scodelario, Haley Joel Osment, Jim Parsons, John Malkovich and James Hetfield. The screenplay is written by Michael Werwie which is inspired from The Phantom Prince: My Life with Ted Bundy by Elizabeth Kendall. The music was composed by Marco Beltrami along with Dennis Smith.
