The story of Matsyendranath who attained a higher level of spiritual excellence. Mayamaschindra features N. T. Rama Rao in the title role along with Vanisri, Taraka Rama Rao Nandamuri and Tadepalli Lakshmi Kanta Rao in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Babu Bhai Mistry.
