The Legend of Zorro is a 2005 English-language Action Adventure motion picture written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio and Johnston Mcculley. The movie is directed by Martin Campbell and produced by Walter F. Parkeslaurie Macdonaldlloyd Phillips under the banner of Columbia Pictures in collaboration with Amblin Entertainment, Spyglass Entertainment and Parkes/MacDonald Productions. Despite trying to keep his swashbuckling to a minimum, a threat to California's pending statehood causes the adventure-loving Alejandro de la Vega (Banderas) -- and his wife, Elena (Zeta-Jones) -- to take action.
