The Tower of Death is a 1981 Cantonese-language Action Crime motion picture written by Ting Chak-luen and Ho Ting-sing. The movie is directed by Ng See-yuen and produced by Raymond Chow. While investigating his friend Chin Ku's (Hwang Jang Lee) death, martial artist Billy Lo (Bruce Lee) is killed. His younger brother, Bobby Lo (Kim Tai Chung), investigates both deaths. His search takes him to Japan, where he befriends Lewis (Roy Horan), master of the Castle Of Death. But when Lewis is brutally murdered, Bobby must investigate the mysterious Fan Yu temple, where he must enter an underground pagoda and face off with the most terrifying of enemies. Written by Jin Ryusaki. The tower of death features Bruce Lee in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Tong Lung, Huong Cheng Li, Roy Chiao, To Wai Wo, Hoi Sang Lee and Tae-jeong Kim. The music was composed by Frankie Chan. Cinematography was done by Leung Hei-man, Cheung Hoi, Danny Lee Yau-tong and Hoh Tin-shing and editing by Peter Cheung. The movie has a running time of 96 minutes. It was released on 21st March 1981. The motion picture made a box office gross of $1 million. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Golden Harvest.
