BIOGRAPHY

Harrison Ford fondly known as Harry made his debut as an actor in Dead Heat on a Merry-Go-Round (1966). It was in 1977 he gained recognition as an actor with the movie Star Wars which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and Ford at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Jupiter Award for Best International Actor for Raiders of the Lost Ark which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Fords career so far are American Graffiti (1973), The Conversation (1974), Star Wars (1977), Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Blade Runner (1982), Witness (1985), The Mosquito Coast (1986), Working Girl (1988), Presumed Innocent (1990), Patriot Games (1992), The Fugitive (1993), Clear and Present Danger (1994), Air Force One (1997), Six Days, Seven Nights (1998), What Lies Beneath (2000), Morning Glory (2010), 42 (2013), The Age of Adaline (2015), and Blade Runner 2049 (2017) to name a few. Harrison Ford son of radio actress Dorothy and actor John William Ford was born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois. He attended Maine East High School in Park Ridge, Illinois, and graduated from there in the year 1960. He then attended Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin, majoring in philosophy.
