Bakjwi is a 2009 Korean-language Drama Fantasy motion picture directed by Park Chan-wook and produced by Park Chan-wook and Ahn Soo-hyun. Bakjwi features Song Kang-ho in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Kim Ok-bin, Kang-ho Song, Hee-jin Choi, Dong-soo Seo, Hwa-ryong Lee and Mi-ran Ra. The screenplay is written by Park Chan-wook and Jeong Seo-kyeong which is inspired from Th r se Raquin by mile Zola. The music was composed by Jo Yeong-wook. He nearly dies, but makes a miraculous recovery by an accidental transfusion of vampire blood. He realizes his sole reason for living: the pleasures of the flesh.
