Barfi! is a 2012 Hindi-language Adventure Comedy motion picture written by Anurag Basu, Tani Basu, Sanjeev Dutta and Sanjeev Datta. The movie is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Anurag Basu, Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of Ishana Movies in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures. Set in Darjeeling and Kolkata of 1970s, the film is about Barfi , a deaf-mute young man based in Darjeeling, and his relationships with two lovely girls, the beautiful Shruti , and the autistic Jhilmil . Barfi! features Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Ileana D'cruz, Saurabh Shukla, Rupa Ganguly, Ashish Vidyarthi and Deependra Singh. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty.
