Blaze is a 2018 English-language Biography Drama movie written by Sybil Rosen and Ethan Hawke. The movie is directed by Ethan Hawke and produced by John Sloss, Jake Seal, Ethan Hawke and Ryan Hawke. A reimagining of the life and times of Blaze Foley, the unsung songwriting legend of the Texas Outlaw Music movement. Blaze stars Ben Dickey, Alia Shawkat, Sam Rockwell, Steve Zahn, Kris Kristofferson, Richard Linklater and Johnny Stassi. The screenplay is written by Ethan Hawke and Sybil Rosen which is inspired from Living in the Woods in a Tree: Remembering Blaze by Sybil Rosen. Cinematography was done by Steve Cosens and editing by Jason Gourson. The movie has a running time of 127 minutes. It was released on 1st November 2020 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The film made a box office gross of $19 million.
