Dead End is a 2016 Mandarin-language Horror Thriller motion picture written by Mark Van Woert and directed by Mark Van Woert and Cao Baoping and produced by Ye Jinjun and Cao Baoping under the banner of Dream Sky Film in collaboration with Bona Film Group and Beijing Standard Image Culture Communication. Friends embark on a cross country criminal spree that ends horribly. Reckless actions take them from being ruthless criminals to helpless victims, and survival comes in the form of a washed up Deputy Sheriff. Dead end features Deng Chao, Duan Yihong, Guo Tao, Wang Luodan, Debbie Rochon, Felissa Rose and Jennifer Black. The screenplay is written by Cao Baoping and Mia Jiao which is inspired from Sunspot by Xu Yigua. The music was composed by Bai Shui. Cinematography was done by Luo Pan and editing by Cao Baoping and Li Yongyi. The movie has a running time of 137-227 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of $46 million.
