Gokudô kuroshakai is a 1997 Japanese-language Crime Drama motion picture written by Seigo Inoue and directed by Takashi Miike and produced by Tetsuya Ikeda, Ken Takeuchi, Tsutomu Tsuchikawa, Toshiki Kimura and Chang Hwa-kun. A Japanese assassin stranded in Taiwan must take work from a local crime boss to make ends meet when suddenly a woman from his past delivers a son to him. Gokudô kuroshakai stars Show Aikawa in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Tomorowo Taguchi, Gao Mingjun, Chen Xianmei, Shô Aikawa, Li Wei Chang and Shih Chang. The music was composed by Sound Kids. Cinematography was done by Li Yi-hsu and editing by Yasushi Shimamura. The movie has a running time of 95 minutes. It was released on 28th June 1997 in Japanese, Mandarin and Taiwanese Hokkien languages.
