Kaabil is a story about visually impaired couple Supriya and Rohan. Rohan goes on a revenge spree to avenge her rape and death. The screenplay was written by Sanjay Masoom and Vijay Kumar Mishra. The film was produced by Rakesh Roshan and directed by Sanjay Gupta. This 2017 action thriller film stars Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy, and Rohit Roy. Hrithik for essaying his role perfectly locked himself up in his house and moved around the house blindfolded. Ronit Roy was injured during filming and nine pieces of glass were taken out from his arm. Clear cut editing by Akiv Ali and adept cinematography by Sudeep Chatterjee and Ayananka Bose makes it a watchable movie. It was released on 25 January 2017 and was distributed by Filmkraft Productions Pvt. Ltd and B4U Motion Pictures. The music was composed by Rajesh Roshan. The film was made on a budget of ₹35 crores and it collected ₹177 crores at the box office. The Censor Board has categorized the movie under UA certification and occupies a screen time of 139 minutes.
