My Name Is Khan is a 2010 Hindi-language Adventure Drama motion picture written by Shibani Bathija and Niranjan Iyengar. The movie is directed by Karan Johar and produced by Gauri Khan, Hiroo Johar and Hiroo Yash Johar under the banner of Fox Searchlight Pictures in collaboration with Dharma Productions, Red Chillies Entertainment and Image Nation Abu Dhabi. An Indian Muslim man with Asperger's syndrome takes a challenge to speak to the President seriously, and embarks on a cross-country journey. My name is khan stars Shah Rukh Khan in the title role along with an ensemble cast including Sonya Jehan, Jimmy Sheirgill, Zarina Wahab, Arjan Aujla, Arjun Mathur and Kajol Devgn. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Ehsaan Noorani along with Loy Mendonsa, Shankar Mahadevan and Shankar-ehsaan-loy. Cinematography was done by Ravi K. Chandran and editing by Deepa Bhatia. The movie has a running time of 165 minutes. It was released on 12th February 2010 in Hindi and English languages.
