One Missed Call is a 2018 Japanese-language motion picture directed by Takashi Miike and produced by Yoichi Arishige, Fumio Inoue and Naoki Sato under the banner of Kadokawa-Daiei Eiga. People mysteriously start receiving voicemail messages from their future selves, foretelling their deaths. One missed call features Ko Shibasaki, Shinichi Tsutsumi, Kazue Fukiishi, Yutaka Matsuchige, Goro Kishitani and Renji Ishibashi. The screenplay is written by Minako Daira which is inspired from Chakushin Ari by Yasushi Akimoto. The music was composed by K Ji End. Cinematography was done by Hideo Yamamoto and editing by Yasushi Shimamura. The movie has a running time of 112 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. One Missed Call was made on a budget of $1 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $16 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Toho.
