Relife is a 2017 Japanese-language Sci-Fi movie directed by Takeshi Furusawa and produced by Kazuo Nakanishi under the banner of C&I Entertainment in collaboration with Culture Entertainment, Dentsu, Earth Star Entertainment, NHN Comico, Nippon Shuppan Hanbai K.K., Parco Co., Ltd., Shochiku and TMS Entertainment. Arata Kaizaki is 27 years-old and unemployed. He quit his prior job after working for the company for 3 months. Arata Kaizaki decides to take part in a research program ReLIFE. He takes medication that makes him look 10 years younger and he is to attend high school for a year. There, he falls in love with female high school student Chizuru Hishiro. Relife stars Taishi Nakagawa in the title role along with Francesco Bargi, Riccardo Benghi, Paolo Giannelli and Elisa Marangon in supporting roles. The screenplay is written by Kumiko As which is inspired from ReLIFE by Yayoiso. The music was composed by Yusuke Hayashi. Cinematography was done by Yasushi Hanamura and editing by Seiji Harimoto. The movie has a running time of 119 minutes. It was released on 15th April 2017. The movie made a box office gross of ¥218 million. Distribution rights for the motion picture were acquired by Shochiku.
