Chocolate is a 2005 Hindi-language movie written by Rohit Malhotra and Vivek Agnihotri. The movie is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Vibha Bhatnagar, Ragini Sona and Mehmood Ali under the banner of Wolper Pictures in collaboration with The Quaker Oats Company. Five Indians living in London find themselves thrown together when two of them are implicated for a bomb blast. An Indian lawyer enters the scene to bail them out of their predicament. Chocolate features Anil Kapoor in the title role along with Sushma Reddy, Irrfan Khan, Tanushree Dutta, Sunil Shetty, Arshad Warsi and Emraan Hashmi in supporting roles. The music was composed by Pritam. Cinematography was done by Attar Singh Saini and editing by Vivek Agnihotri and Satyajeet Gazmer. The motion picture has a running time of 162 minutes. It was released on 1st January 1970 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Chocolate was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹6 crore. Distribution rights for the film were acquired by Pen N Camera International.
