Sajjan (15 January 1921 – 17 May 2000) was a Bollywood and Stage actor. He acted in several plays and movies between 1950s to 1980s. His best known films are Bees Saal Baad, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, April Fool, Rail Ka Dibba and Jhumroo.==Early life== Born on January 15, 1921 in Jaipur, his full name was Sajjan Lal Purohit. But he was known with his first name in Indian Film Industry. Sajjan did his graduation from Jaswarit college, Jodhpur. He had a desire to be a lawyer but not an actor.
