The Christ of Nanjing is a 1995 Cantonese-language Drama Romance motion picture written by Ryûnosuke Akutagawa and Joyce Chan. The movie is directed by Tony Au and produced by Chua Lam and Akira Morishige under the banner of Golden Harvest in collaboration with Amuse and Inc. The christ of nanjing features Tony Leung Ka-fai, Yasuko Tomita, Tony Ka Fai Leung, Shinobu Chihara, Jing Chow, Shun Lau and Johnson Yuen. The screenplay is written by Joyce Chan which is inspired from The Christ of Nanjing by Akutagawa Ryunosuke. The music was composed by Shigeru Umebayashi.
