BIOGRAPHY

Akshaye Khanna fondly known as Akshoo made his debut as an actor in the film Himalay Putra(1997). It was not until 1999 he got his first major hit with the movie Taal which gave him stardom. There was no turning back after that and Akshaye at present is considered a very bankable star. He has had a good career studded with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Star Screen Awards for Best Male Debut for Himalay Putra which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Akshayes career so far are Taal (1999), Dahek (1999), Dil Chahta Hai (2001), Deewangee (2002), Hungama (2003), Hulchul (2004), 36 China Town (2006), Gandhi, My Father (2007), Race (2008), Tees Maar Khan (2010), Aakrosh (2010), Dishoom (2016), Mom (2017), and Ittefaq (2017) to name a few. Akshaye Khanna son of actor and politician Vinod Khanna and Geetanjali Taleyarkhan was born on 28 March 1975 in Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He completed his schooling at Lawrence School, Lovedale. He then completed his bachelors degree from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He then Joined Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute.
