Hyouka: Forbidden Secrets is a 2017 Japanese-language motion picture directed by Mari Asato and produced by Shinichir Inoue, Go Kobayashi and Ryosuke Yamagata under the banner of Kadokawa Daiei Studio. As a high school freshman Hotaro has to choose a club to join and picks the Classic Literature Club as his sister had. Alongside fellow member Eru she happens across a decades' old text that indicates secrets of the school and its festival. Written by aghaemi. Hyouka: forbidden secrets features Kento Yamazaki and Alice Hirose. The screenplay is written by Mari Asato which is inspired from Hyouka by Honobu Yonezawa.
