Anupam Kher made his debut as a lead actor in the film Saaransh (1984). Right from the beginning, he has had a good career with a lot of awards to his credit. His maiden award was the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for Saaransh which has since been followed by many more. The iconic films in Khers career so far are Saaransh (1984), Ram Lakhan (1989), Daddy (1989), Lamhe (1991), Khel (1992), Darr (1993) and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Bend It Like Beckham (2002), Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara (2005), Lust, Caution (2007), Silver Linings Playbook (2012), and The Boy with the Topknot (2018) to name a few. Kher son of Pushkarnath Kher and Dulari Kher was born on 7 March 1955 in Shimla. He completed his schooling at D. A. V. School in Simla. He then graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD) in New Delhi.
